Cake Link Master

Cake Link Master counts its content precisely: 120 levels, each a grid of drawn cakes, with the difficulty climbing steadily rather than jumping. If the layout is new, Mahjong Solitaire vs Connect explains it.

Two matching cakes are tapped and a line joins them. That line may turn twice at most, and it cannot pass over a tile still on the board, which is the half of the rule beginners miss, because a route that looks like two clean turns often runs straight through a slice of gateau. A path with at most two corners clears pairs in the Onet Connect Classic grid as well.

Early boards are forgiving and let almost any pair go. Later ones pack the cakes tightly, so the useful skill becomes reading which tiles sit on the outside of the shape and clearing those first, keeping routes open for the pairs stranded in the middle. Lof Games built it at 1280 by 720 for pointer or touch. Cute Connect is matched by path rather than by stack, the same way.

How to Play

  1. Tap a cake, then tap its match.
  2. Check that the line between them turns twice at most.
  3. Make sure no standing tile sits on the route.
  4. Clear the grid to finish the level.
  5. Carry on through all 120 boards as the difficulty rises.

Tips & Tricks

  • Read the outline — cakes on the outside of the shape in Cake Link Master have the most legal routes, and taking them opens the middle.
  • Two turns, no crossings — a route can satisfy the bend limit and still be refused for passing over a tile.
  • Expect the ramp — the opening boards are gentle, and the packing gets serious well before the hundredth level.
  • Separate the sponges — several cakes differ only in their topping, so check the decoration before you tap.
