The core is unchanged — two identical tiles clear when the line between them makes no more than two ninety-degree turns and passes through nothing still standing — but Agame’s 2021 deluxe edition adds a time freeze, extra hints, and coins collected during play.

The time freeze is the piece that changes decisions. In an ordinary connect game a locked-looking board means panic; here it means stopping the clock while you find the route. Used well, it turns the hardest thirty seconds of a level into a solvable puzzle, which is why holding it back until a level genuinely tightens is worth more than spending it on the opening. • Bank the extra hints — the deluxe edition is generous with them, but they still work best on a board you have already tried to read.

• Open corridors early — a two-turn route needs a gap to bend into, so remove towards the middle.
• Use full screen — following a connecting line across the grid is far easier with the stage enlarged.
