Toys Mahjong Connect

Toys Mahjong Connect puts a nursery shelf on the tiles — building blocks, rattles, wooden animals — and asks for pairs joined by a route of no more than two turns. Fifteen levels run in sequence, each with a time bound that pays an extra bonus if you beat it. The whole list is kept in the Tower section.

The children’s art is not only decoration. Toy shapes are chunky and high-contrast, which makes this one of the easier link boards to scan, and that shifts the challenge from recognition to route-finding: the tiles are easy to identify and hard to reach. Opening the outer ring first is the standard method, since an emptied border gives every later route somewhere to bend. The Safari grid is the nearest flat-board neighbour of this one here.

Lof Games kept the 2020 interface bare, with light music behind it, and the board takes a mouse click or a tap on a touchscreen. At 800 by 450 the grid is wide rather than tall, which means long horizontal lanes matter more than vertical ones. Full screen widens those lanes visibly and is worth switching on before the timed levels start biting. Two turns and nothing in the way is also the rule in the Connect 2 Cars grid.

1. Find two tiles showing the same toy.
2. Trace a route between the two toys that turns at most twice through empty space.
3. Click the pair to remove it.
4. Clear the outer ring early to keep the routes open.
5. Empty the toy grid inside the time bound to take the bonus and move on.

• Think horizontally — the grid is wide, so most of the long lanes run left to right.
• Beat the bound — Toys Mahjong Connect pays its bonus only for a fast clear.
• Match by silhouette — the toy shapes are distinct enough to scan quickly.
• Switch to full screen — wider lanes are easier to trace at full size.
