Connect The Roads

A car is waiting to get to work, and the road between it and the office is in pieces you have to shuffle back into a line. The full Connect list is where the rest of these boards live.

MarketJS names the influences directly: pipe games for the routing, picture sliders for the movement, and the mix is why a level can look solved and still leave one gap unreachable. Each board also grades the run out of three stars, so completing the road is only half the target. A setting turns the guide grid on or off, which matters more than it sounds on the wide 960 by 540 board. Two turns and nothing in the way is also the rule in Sweet Connection.

Beginners usually rush the first two tiles and then discover the corner piece they need is boxed in. Reading the whole route before moving anything is what turns a finished road into a three-star one. The Escape Link grid replaces the tile art and leaves the path rule alone.

1. Look at where the car starts and where it has to reach.
2. Move the road tiles until the pieces form one unbroken route.
3. Switch the guide grid on if the alignment is hard to read.
4. Complete the road and check how many of the three stars the level awarded.

• Plan before the first move — the route on a Connect The Roads board is far easier to read while nothing has shifted.
• Grid on for tight levels — the toggle exists because the 960 by 540 layout can hide a misalignment.
• Corners cost stars — a bend moved early is the piece most likely to end up boxed in.
• Think in pipes — the developer points at pipe games for a reason, and route-first thinking beats tile-first fiddling.
