Jokers are the wrinkle. They act as wild cards, but only among themselves — a joker pairs with any other joker whatever else is showing, which makes them a reserve for exactly the moment a formation locks. 1. Find two identical open cards, with nothing stacked on them and one long side free.
2. Select both to remove the pair from the formation.
3. Pair jokers with any other joker when the board tightens, since they match freely among themselves.
4. Clear the whole layout at your own pace, because no clock is forcing it.
5. Call a hint or a shuffle if a formation deadlocks.

• Hold the jokers — they are the only cards that pair without an exact match, so spending them early throws away your unlock.
• Read rank before suit — the pairs hide in near-identical faces, and rank is the faster filter.
• Take the bridges — a row that spans two stacks blocks both, and removing it usually opens four cards.
• Use the absent clock — with no time limit, plan two moves ahead instead of clicking the first match you see.
• Go full screen — pips at window size are the main source of misreads across the 120 layouts.
