Squid Mahjong Connect takes its imagery from the Squid Game series — the masked guards, the shapes cut from honeycomb — and sets it inside an Easter-coloured frame. The pairing rule is the plain one: two tiles bearing the same item clear when a line between them turns no more than twice.

A soundtrack runs under the board, which is unusual for this format and quietly changes the pace people play at. A steady loop pulls you into matching in rhythm instead of stopping to read the grid, and that works against you when a level is tight, so it is worth noticing when the music rather than the timer is setting your speed. Each board carries a time limit and the layouts keep climbing in difficulty, so the real question is how far up you get before a grid outruns you. Tips & Tricks

Clear the border first — outer tiles have the room a two-turn line needs, and taking them widens the routes inward.
Do not match to the music — the loop sets a rhythm the time limit takes no notice of.
Group by mask — the guard tiles differ mainly in the shape on the front, so read that part first.
Shuffle at the dead end — redealing earns its cost only when no legal two-turn path is left.
