Kikker Connect builds its board from Max Velthuijs’s picture-book frog, and the tiles are the original illustrations of Kikker and his friends rather than generic symbols.
The rule is the two-angle link. You draw a line between two identical tiles, and that line is allowed at most two bends; anything longer, or any route that crosses a tile still standing, is refused. That single restriction is what turns a wide grid into a puzzle, because the pair you can see is often not the pair you can currently reach. One more board of that sort is Mahjong Connect Deluxe 1.
Levels grow harder as you work through them, and the level-select screen stays open, so an awkward board can be set aside for a gentler one and picked up later. WPG Kindermedia released the 2019 build for Android, iOS and HTML5, and the same version answers to a pointer or a fingertip here. The full screen control is worth using: at 900 by 510 the drawn frogs are small, and telling one friend from another is the whole job. The line between two tiles decides the match in the Onet Emoji Connect grid as well.

How to Play
- Pick a level from the selection screen and look over the illustrated tiles.
- Find two tiles showing the same Kikker drawing.
- Draw the line between them, keeping it to two bends or fewer.
- Check the route is clear, since tiles still on the board block the path.
- Clear every pair, collecting butterflies along the way to unlock new tile art.
Tips & Tricks
- Start in the middle — centre tiles in Kikker Connect have the fewest legal routes, and freeing them widens what the edges can reach.
- Count the bends before you drag — a route that needs a third turn is rejected, so trace it with your eye first.
- Chase the butterflies — collecting them unlocks extra tile illustrations, which adds variety to the later boards.
- Step back a level — the selection screen lets you return to a gentler board when a later one stalls.
- Play it full screen — the frog drawings carry the difference between two near-identical tiles, and they read far better enlarged.
