Halloween Triple Mahjong

Halloween Triple Mahjong changes the arithmetic of the tile board. Matches here come in threes — pick out three identical faces and they leave together, which means a stack with two of a symbol showing and the third one buried is a stack you cannot finish yet.

The cast is pumpkins, witches and monsters, drawn in a bright cartoon register rather than a frightening one. Selection follows the familiar rule: a piece needs at least two open adjacent sides before it can be lifted, so the shape of the pile decides which of the three you can actually reach. Nothing is timed. The 2021 build lets you sit and count, which suits a game where a careless removal can leave an unmatchable pair stranded. Hints and shuffles are on hand, and the shuffle is the recovery move when the surviving faces cannot make a trio. The Alchemy board keeps the layered board and changes the shape.

It takes mouse and touch input, and the full screen toggle is worth setting first: the layers overlap heavily, and at native size it is easy to miscount how many copies of a monster are exposed. Pairs leave the stack the same way in the Jungle pile.

1. Look for three tiles showing the same Halloween character, not two.
2. Check each has at least two open adjacent sides.
3. Select all three to clear them from the stack.
4. Take the top layers first so the buried third copies become reachable.
5. Empty the whole pile to finish the level.

• Count to three before you click — removing two of a symbol with the third one buried leaves a dead end.
• Strip from above — the third copy of a face is usually the one under the pile.
• Take your time — no clock is running, and a careful count beats a fast mistake here.
• Shuffle a stuck stack — when the exposed pieces cannot form a trio, redealing is the way out.
• Use full screen — the overlapping layers hide copies, and a bigger stage makes them countable.
