Kris Mahjong Remastered

Kris Mahjong Remastered is a connect board wearing fruit. Feig Ltd. rebuilt the original in 2020 with a polished tile set, new sounds and new music, and the faces you are pairing are oranges, cherries and melons rather than bamboo and characters.

The matching rule is the link rule, not the stacking one. Two identical tiles clear when a path can be drawn between them that stays clear of other pieces and turns no more than twice at right angles. That means position beats availability: a pair sitting in the middle of a packed block is unusable until the tiles around it have gone, so every removal is also an act of opening a corridor. The Link board runs the connect rule on its own artwork.

Time is the pressure, and it is self-replenishing. Each level runs on a set allowance, but every successful match adds a few seconds back, which turns the board into a rhythm problem. Keep pairing and the clock stays healthy; hesitate and it drains with nothing coming in. The 3D list is where the rest of these boards live.

The stage is 800 by 600 and reads well in full screen, where the fruit art is bright enough to scan quickly. Touch input works, and tapping two fruit tiles connects them as a mouse click would. Reading the edges first works in the Fresh Fruit Connection board too.

1. Find two tiles carrying the same fruit somewhere on the board.
2. Check the route between them: it must avoid every remaining tile and bend no more than twice.
3. Click both to clear the pair and add a few seconds back to the level clock.
4. Keep the matches coming so the time you gain outpaces the time you spend.
5. Remove every tile to finish the level.

• Match to buy time — each cleared pair returns seconds, so a steady tempo is worth more than a perfect single move.
• Open the middle — pairs locked inside a solid block only become linkable once there is a corridor for the path to travel.
• Count the corners — three bends means the connection is illegal however obvious the pair looks.
• Learn the fruit set — the remastered art draws several fruits in similar colours, and a misclick costs the rhythm.
• Switch to full screen — tracing a two-bend route across an 800 by 600 board is far easier when it fills the display.
