Mahjong Connect Remastered
Twelve linked levels on a single-layer board, each handing you a shorter clock than the one before it.

Twelve levels, each with less time than the one before it, is the structure that gives Mahjong Connect Remastered its shape. Feig Ltd. rebuilt the classic connect board in 2021 with cleaner art and a calmer Chinese-styled backdrop, then made the difficulty curve a matter of the clock rather than the layout.
Play is single-layer linking. Identical tiles clear when a path can join them without crossing anything still standing and without turning more than twice at ninety degrees. Nothing is buried, so the question is never whether a tile is on top; it is whether anything is in the way. The Sweet Easter grid runs the connect rule on its own artwork.
Because the time allowance shrinks as you advance, the early levels are where you build the habit that carries the late ones: clear the outer ring first so the interior gains routes, and take the reachable pair in front of you instead of tracing a prettier one across the board. Hint and shuffle are available, the hint surfacing one linkable pair and the shuffle redistributing tiles when nothing connects. The 3D section carries the other boards of this kind.
The board is large at 900 by 660, which makes full screen more useful here than on the compact cube games, since long connecting paths are much easier to follow when the tiles are not miniature. For a board of the same kind, see the Squid Connect board.
Controls
Mouse on a desktop, or tap the tiles on a touchscreen.
How to Play
- Spot two tiles with the same face on the single-layer board.
- Trace the route between them and check that it turns twice at most and crosses no remaining tile.
- Click both tiles to clear the pair and open a route for later matches.
- Finish the level before its allowance expires, remembering that each of the twelve gives you less time than the last.
Tips & Tricks
- Clear the outer ring early — routes into the middle only exist once the border has gaps in it.
- Take the near pair — with the allowance falling level by level, a quick legal link beats a longer search.
- Watch the bend count — two turns is the ceiling, and a path that needs three is simply not there yet.
- Use the hint as a map — it shows a linkable pair, which also tells you where the board currently has room.
- Play this one full screen — at 900 by 660 the layout is wide, and following a path across it in a window is genuinely awkward.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many levels does Mahjong Connect Remastered have?
Twelve, and the time allowance drops with each one, so the pressure rises even where the layout does not.
What counts as a legal link in Mahjong Connect Remastered?
A clear path between two identical tiles with no more than two ninety-degree turns and no tile in the way.
Are hints and shuffles available in Mahjong Connect Remastered?
Both. The hint reveals one linkable pair; the shuffle redistributes tiles when no connection is left.
What changed in Mahjong Connect Remastered?
Feig Ltd. rebuilt the classic connect board in 2021 with better graphics and a smoother, calmer presentation.
Does Mahjong Connect Remastered support full screen?
It does, and on a 900 by 660 board that extra size makes long connecting routes much easier to trace.
