Mahjong Sweet Easter
An Easter connect board of eggs and candies where every clearance lets the tiles above it drop.

Mahjong Sweet Easter dresses a connect field in painted eggs, rabbits and boiled sweets, and TapLabGames added the one twist that changes every plan: gravity. Clear a pair low down and everything stacked above it slides into the gap, so the arrangement you were reading a second ago is no longer there.
Matching follows the link school rather than the stacked-pyramid one. Two identical tiles clear when a line can join them with no more than two right-angle turns, or when they already sit next to each other, and that line may not pass through a tile still standing. The same scanning across an open grid is what the Candy – Candy Link board asks for.
A timer supplies the other half of the pressure, since the aim is to take as many tiles as possible before it empties. Hints and a shuffle are available when the field seizes up, but every second spent hunting is a second not spent matching. The 2021 build works on desktop and on phone screens.
Playing in full screen makes the confectionery legible — several of the candy designs differ only by colour, and the falling column makes a misread expensive. Beginners tend to clear the top rows out of habit; on this field that wastes the drop, while working from the bottom sets up chains for free. The Birds Link board puts the same rule on a board of a different size.

How to Play
- Find two identical Easter tiles — the same egg, the same sweet.
- Trace the link: it may run straight or bend twice, and it may not cross a tile still in play.
- Select both to clear them, then watch the tiles above drop into the space they left behind.
- Keep matching before the timer empties, using each collapse to open lines that were not there before.
Tips & Tricks
- Clear from the bottom — every removal in Mahjong Sweet Easter pulls the column above it down, so low pairs reshape the field at no cost.
- Read the colours twice — the painted eggs differ by a stripe, and a wrong pick spends time you are racing against.
- Keep one lane clean — a link with three turns is illegal, so leave a corridor running across the field.
- Spend hints late — the opening rows offer obvious pairs, and the endgame is where a hint saves the level.
- Enlarge the field — full screen keeps the candy faces apart when the drop rearranges them mid-search.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does gravity work in Mahjong Sweet Easter?
When a pair is removed, the tiles above the gap fall into it, so the field rearranges itself after every match.
What counts as a link in Mahjong Sweet Easter?
Two identical tiles joined by a line with no more than two right-angle turns, or a pair already touching.
Is Mahjong Sweet Easter played against a clock?
Yes, time is limited, and the aim is to match as many tiles as possible before it runs out.
Can Mahjong Sweet Easter be opened in full screen?
Yes, and it is the sensible way to play, since several of the sweets differ only by colour.
What is on the tiles in Mahjong Sweet Easter?
Holiday imagery — decorated eggs, rabbits and candies in place of bamboo and character suits.
