The tiles in Space Connect Mahjong carry planets, rockets and other cosmic icons, set against a dark starfield rather than a table top. Every pair you clear leaves two more gaps for the next line to travel through.

Nothing counts down. The board is untimed, which changes how it plays: a stalled grid can be studied until you work out which route is legal, instead of grabbing the first pair in sight. 1. Look across the starfield grid for two identical space icons.
2. Select the first, then its twin, to take both off the board.
3. Ask for a hint when nothing obvious remains.
4. Shuffle the grid if the icons that are left cannot be linked.
5. Clear every pair to finish the board.

• Clear the top layer first — an icon with something resting on it cannot be taken until that tile moves.
• Use the untimed board — with no clock in Space Connect Mahjong, the right move is to map the grid before the first click rather than after the tenth.
