Jungle Mahjong Deluxe
An animal stack in dense undergrowth, played against a timer that feeds directly into the score.

Jungle Mahjong Deluxe drops the tile stack into thick green undergrowth: monkeys, parrots, tigers and frogs on the faces, with jungle sound behind them. The rules are the classic Chinese matching ones, adapted to an animal deck rather than rewritten.
What decides a run is the free-side condition. A tile only comes off the board when it is free, with at least two adjacent sides open, so a parrot pinned between neighbours is out of play until one of them is matched away, and anything stacked on top has to be lifted first. A second stacked layout here is the Celtic board.
A timer runs and it feeds the score, so the board rewards decisive play over careful browsing. Hints point out a pair when the canopy closes over, and a shuffle redeals the remaining animals when nothing legal is left to take. For one more pile of the same kind, see the Titans pile.
Full screen keeps the jungle artwork distinguishable at speed, since several of the birds are drawn in the same palette and misclicking under a clock is expensive. The build works on desktop monitors and on phones. The reliable route through is to open the top layers early, because those tiles hide the pairs the endgame depends on. The Garden board asks the same question of a taller pile.
Controls
Mouse or touchscreen.
How to Play
- Pick a tile and look for the animal that matches it.
- Ensure the tile is free, with at least two adjacent sides open and nothing above it.
- Select the pair to clear it and expose the animals underneath.
- Call a hint when you are stuck, or shuffle the board for a fresh arrangement, and clear the level before time runs out.
Tips & Tricks
- Open the canopy first — in Jungle Mahjong Deluxe the top layer decides which animals are reachable at all.
- Play to the timer — the clock feeds the score, so a fast obvious pair beats a slow perfect one.
- Separate the birds by marking — several parrots share the same green and differ in the detail.
- Keep hints for the tight boards, where the undergrowth is packed and the seconds are running out.
- Shuffle at a standstill — a fresh arrangement is faster than hunting a pair that no longer exists.

A very exciting, and even gambling, logic game.
