Happy Easter Links

Twenty-seven Easter link levels where the leftovers drift after every match, so the corridor you planned may vanish before you use it.

Happy Easter Links is a linking board with a seasonal cast: eggs, chicks and rabbits instead of tile suits, across twenty-seven levels of rising difficulty. The connection rule is the familiar one, joining two identical items with a path that bends no more than twice at right angles and crosses nothing on the way.

What makes it awkward, and interesting, is that the board does not always hold still. On some levels the remaining items float after each removal, sliding to the bottom, to the top, to one side, to the centre, or splitting apart. Time is worth playing for rather than merely surviving. Finishing a level before the limit runs out awards a bonus, which means the difference between clearing a board and clearing it quickly shows up in the score. Mahjong Solitaire vs Connect takes the same rules apart step by step.

The stage is a large 1280 by 960, built for a mouse and best used in full screen, where a long connecting path across a wide Easter board stays easy to trace. The Kikker Connect grid keeps the pace of this one.

How to Play

Find two matching Easter items, whether the same egg, the same chick or the same rabbit.
Trace the route between them: at most two right-angle bends, and no other item in the way.
Click both to clear the pair, then check whether the board has shifted before your next move.
Clear all twenty-seven levels, finishing each one before the timer expires to collect the bonus.

Tips & Tricks

Re-read after every match — on the floating levels the whole arrangement moves, and your planned route may be gone.
Learn which way a level drifts — bottom, top, left, right, centre or split, each direction changes where corridors open.
Two bends is the ceiling — if a path needs three corners it is not available yet, whatever the pair looks like.
Play for the time bonus — finishing early is scored, so speed is worth more than tidiness.
Use full screen — the board is 1280 by 960, and following a long link across it in a window is a strain.
