Mahjong Word

Mahjong Word replaces the suits with letters and the pairing rule with spelling. Tiles are selected in sequence to build a word, and when the word is complete those pieces leave the stack — so the question on every board is not which two faces match, but which letters you can actually reach.

Reachability follows the classic condition: a piece is playable when it is uncovered and has at least one free side. Longer words score more, and Webgameapp pays a bonus for a bingo, which turns a tempting three-letter option into a decision — spend those letters now, or hold them for something worth more. Pairs leave the stack the same way in the Letter pile.

There is no clock, and that is the right call for a puzzle where the useful move is to stare at the board and rearrange letters in your head. Hints and shuffles are available for a stack that has stopped offering anything spellable. Directly alongside it sits Kris Mahjong.

1. Find letter tiles that are uncovered and have at least one side free.
2. Click them in order to spell a word.
3. Complete the word to remove those pieces from the stack.
4. Go for longer words — they score more, and a bingo pays a bonus.
5. Shuffle when the letters left will not make anything.

• Clear the top first — the letters you need are usually the ones still buried under the stack.
• Hold your vowels — spending them on a short word can leave a board of consonants nobody can spell with.
• Stretch for length — the scoring curve rewards one long word far more than two short ones.
• Chase the bingo bonus — it is the biggest single payout on the board.
• Set full screen — the native frame is a narrow 336 by 600, and the letters are small until you enlarge it.
