Xmasjong is built around a small reward loop rather than a score. Connect two identical tiles to take them off the field, and when you strip everything covering a stage you uncover an item that is placed on or under the Christmas tree automatically. The tree fills up as the stages do.
The connecting rule is the link one: the line drawn between a matching pair may include no more than two turns. That makes position more important than speed, because a tile parked behind three others is unreachable no matter how obvious its twin is on the far side of the field.
