Patterns Link

The pieces in Patterns Link are not suits or flowers but classic patterns, and the job is to link them together until the field is bare. The full shelf is the Solitaire shelf.

Agame’s own description calls it a match-3 puzzle while the instruction underneath asks you to connect patterns, which tells you something useful about the board: pieces are cleared by joining them rather than swapped into rows. Speed is the stated measure — connect all the patterns as fast as possible — so a run is judged on how quickly the field empties, not on the route you took to empty it. That pushes the reading work to the front. Repeated geometric patterns are harder to separate at a glance than a numbered tile, and the seconds go on the second look rather than on the click. 1. Look across the field for two pieces carrying the same classic pattern.
2. Link them together to take both off the board.
3. Keep the pairs coming quickly, since the brief is to connect them as fast as possible.
4. Continue until every pattern on the field is gone.

• Sort by shape family — Patterns Link repeats a handful of geometric motifs, so grouping the motifs in your head before hunting saves the second look.
• Do not deliberate — the target Agame sets is speed, and a slower perfect route scores worse than a quick untidy one.
• Clear the dense band — the crowded part of the field is where two identical patterns are easiest to confuse and cheapest to separate early.
• Settle in anyway — its tags mark the board as relaxing, so a run that goes badly is worth restarting rather than salvaging.
