The theme is seasonal, but the scoring underneath is genuinely competitive and the round is short: five minutes, and the clock does not care how attractive the board looks.

Points are where the real game is. Multiplier tiles marked 2X and 3X sit in the layout, and matching them boosts the score for what you take, while consecutive matches build combo bonuses on top of that. The result is a scoring curve that rewards rhythm — a run of quick pairs is worth much more than the same pairs taken slowly with pauses in between.

The shuffle carries a real price here rather than a notional one. When you run out of moves it will rearrange the board, but it deducts twenty seconds from a five-minute round, which is a substantial share of what you have. Finishing inside the time limit also earns a time bonus, so a shuffle can cost you the bonus as well as the seconds.
