Magic Links Mahjong
A flat animal grid where the joining line may run straight or turn exactly once, and no further.

This game could not be started.
It is a classic Flash game played through the Ruffle emulator, and it did not load in your browser this time.
More games like thisMagic Links drops the stacked tower entirely. Tiles lie flat in a grid, every one of them carries an animal, and a level ends when the last pair of identical creatures has been joined and lifted.

The connecting rule is tighter than most link boards allow: the path between two animals may run straight or turn only once, never twice. That single restriction is what makes the game, because two matching beasts sitting in opposite corners stay unreachable until the middle of the grid has thinned out enough for a clean elbow to exist. For a second flat pair-up, there is the Beach Connect grid.
Nothing is counting down, so the pressure comes from the geometry rather than a clock, and the soundtrack can be paused or muted while you work out an order. Cleared levels hand you a fresh arrangement of the same menagerie. If the layout is new, the connect-tips guide explains it.
What runs here is the Flash build from the era, carried by the Ruffle emulator, and the seams occasionally show. The line that flashes between two joined animals can draw slightly out of step with the click, the music toggle is the first thing to behave oddly, and full screen is whatever the browser gives you. Two turns and nothing in the way is also the rule in the Happy Farm Tiles Match board.

How to Play
- Find two identical animals with open space around at least one of them.
- Trace the path in your head: it must be straight, or bend a single time.
- Click both tiles to join them and clear the pair from the grid.
- Keep opening corridors through the middle so longer pairings become legal.
- Clear every animal on the grid to move on to the next arrangement.
Tips & Tricks
- Work the edges early — an outer tile already has half its approach routes free.
- One bend, not two — the pair you keep clicking in vain is almost always a two-turn path.
- Break the grid into lanes — a cleared row or column doubles as a highway for later matches.
- Pause instead of guessing — the pause control stops the music and gives you a still board to read.
- Play full screen — the animal art is small, and telling the two cats apart at window size costs matches.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the connecting line work in Magic Links Mahjong?
It has to be straight or turn exactly once. A path needing two bends is not accepted, however obvious the pair looks.
What is on the tiles in Magic Links Mahjong?
Animals. You are pairing identical creatures rather than traditional suit symbols.
Is Magic Links Mahjong played in full screen?
You can go full screen from the browser. The emulator does not always hand over the game's own display control.
Does Magic Links Mahjong put you under a time limit?
No. Levels run without a countdown, so a long stare at the grid costs nothing.
Can the music be turned off in Magic Links Mahjong?
Yes, there are controls to pause the game and to mute the soundtrack.
