This page explains what this website records about a visit, why, and how to stop it. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impressive.
What is recorded
Two kinds of data. Traffic measurement — which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visitor is, and which browser is used — collected in aggregate so we can see which boards are worth keeping. And whatever your browser sends to the advertising and game providers whose code runs on these pages.
Who else receives data
Games are embedded from their publishers, and adverts are served by Google AdSense. Both receive a request from your browser when a page loads, which necessarily includes your IP address and the page you are on. Their handling of that data is governed by their own policies, not by this one.
Cookies
Cookies are used for advertising personalisation and measurement. Where the law requires consent, a banner asks for it before those cookies are set, and declining does not restrict access to any board on this site.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies in your browser, use the consent controls to withdraw permission, and write to hello@144mahjong.com to ask what is held about you or to have it deleted. Requests are answered within thirty days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. A parent who believes otherwise should write to the address above.
