Choosing the shape of your board is the first thing this one asks. Ships, smiles and animals are among the arrangements available, and since the outline determines which tiles end up buried, the choice is a difficulty setting rather than decoration.

The clock works as an economy instead of a wall. Time is limited, but every successful match adds bonus seconds back, so a board is won by keeping a rhythm rather than by racing. Stall for twenty seconds hunting a pair and you lose ground that a run of quick matches immediately repays. One more preserved title is the World of Warcraft layout.

Hints and an undo are both provided, and the undo is the rarity. Very few tile boards let you take back a bad pair, and on the more awkward outlines, where a wrong removal strands a leg of the shape, it turns a lost board into a recoverable one.
