Animals Cubes Mahjong

Animals Cubes Mahjong replaces flat tiles with dice-like blocks: each cube carries an animal drawing on its visible face, and the pile is assembled in three dimensions rather than layered flat.

Freeing a cube takes more than an empty top. A block counts as playable when nothing rests on it and at least two of its sides stand open — a stricter condition than the usual single free edge, and one that turns the middle of a dense pile into a locked core you have to work around. What you remove are pairs: two identical cubes, clicked in turn. A timer runs on each level, so hesitating over a face you cannot quite place is expensive, and the practical answer is to take the topmost blocks quickly and let the reveals do the reading for you. The faces are drawn small, and in a 3D pile the far ones sit at an angle. Full screen is the difference between recognising an animal on the back row of Animals Cubes Mahjong and guessing at it. The Space Run block keeps the pace of this one.

1. Find two cubes carrying the same animal picture.
2. Check that each is clear on top and open on at least two of its sides.
3. Click both to lift the pair off the pile.
4. Strip the highest blocks first so the cubes below become legal moves.
5. Empty the whole pile before the level timer expires.

• Count the open sides — a cube with a bare top is still stuck if only one flank is exposed.
• Go for height, not depth — removing the top blocks unlocks more of the pile than digging at one edge does.
• Decide quickly — the clock on an Animals Cubes Mahjong level rewards a fast read over a long deliberation.
• Turn on full screen — the angled faces on the far side of the pile are barely legible in a small window.
